We are a 501c3 public charity and are a proud member of the Albuquerque animal community. We provide resources to municipal shelters and pet owners alike. Not only are we an animal rescue and transport service, but we also offer cutting edge training classes, dog and cat boarding, doggie daycare and on-site adoptions at our facility at 1616 Eubank. Our trainers offer private sessions and also classes to help dogs with reactivity issues, We also operate a thrift store at our location where we house our cats available for adoption.

Who We Are:

Positive Paws  is seeking 2 Corporate Sponsorship Specialists to join our team.See details HERE.

We are almost always at full capacity and we receive dozens of requests for help each day. Our mission is to help reduce shelter euthanasia in New Mexico so our primary focus is on the shelters that we partner with here in New Mexico. We unfortunately do not accept owner surrenders and we are not an open admission shelter.

We also receive many requests for transport assistance. We do not provide transport services to private citizens, nor do we do single-animal transports. All our transports are large, coordinated efforts with multiple rescues in surrounding states. We will always help if we can but it is not always within our abilities to do so. We apologize in advance if we are unable to help you with your request.

Come see us at our new facility at 1616 Eubank!

Mission Statement
